Shubman Gill reveals the reason behind Mohammed Shami’s viral celebration

Mohammed Shami celebrated his fifer with a special celebration. He rolled the ball over his head while looking toward someone in the dressing room. After India’s thumping win over Sri Lanka, Shubman Gill revealed that the gesture was directed toward India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambrey.

Shami's gesture was for our bowling coach that's because he doesn't have any hair on his head.
Gill said on Star Sports after the match.

Shami, meanwhile, was not a part of the team in a couple of previous matches because the management chose Shardul Thakur for batting depth. But once given the chance to play, Shami became an indispensable part of the side. He has now two five-wicket hauls in this edition’s World Cup, against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
