India captain Rohit Sharma is a forgetful person, claimed Virat Kohli once. An incident that occurred on Sunday (September 17) will prove it because Rohit forgot his passport in the team hotel.
In a video that went viral on the internet, Rohit could be seen embarrassed in the team bus as he forgot his passport, and his teammates pulled his legs by cheering loudly. A staff then handed him his passport and the team bus left the hotel for the airport.

India decided to leave for India on Sunday night after their 2023 Asia Cup victory in Sri Lanka. India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets by chasing down a 51-run target on Sunday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Mohammed Siraj‘s six-wicket haul was the reason behind Sri Lanka’s horrible situation. Wickets started falling like a pack of cards and eventually, Dasun Shanaka and his men got bundled out for 50 runs.

Virat Kohli had said he did not see a forgetful person than Rohit Sharma
The above incident was one example of how forgetful Rohit Sharma is. He forgets even about the simple things, like getting confused over the team’s decision of whether to choose batting or bowling after winning the toss. In another incident, Rohit forgot to open the cap of the bottle before sipping the drink.
Such incidents only remind the fans of Virat Kohli‘s words during an interview. Kohli had said that he had never seen a forgetful person than Rohit.
“The number of things Rohit Sharma forgets; I have never seen anyone else so forgetful. iPad, wallet, phone, not the small things, but daily use essentials. I don’t care, I’ll get a new one. he has no idea he’s left something, the bus would have traveled halfway to the hotel and then he remembers ‘Oh, I left my iPad on the plane’.” Kohli had said in an episode of Breakfast with Champions.
