WATCH: Rohit Sharma hogs limelight with another brain fade moment, forgets to open bottle cap before drinking
He tried to take a swig of drink but realized that the bottle is closed. He quickly realized his mistake, opened the lid, and drank it.

Rohit Sharma
Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has often hogged the limelight for a hilarious reason, his absent-mindedness. The funniest was the toss incident during India’s second ODI match against New Zealand on January 21 in Raipur. The 36-year-old forget the team’s decision after winning the toss and literally took around a 15-second pause to recall the decision before finally deciding India will bowl first, leaving Kiwi skipper Tom Lathan in splits while a few Indian players standing behind also laughed.
Another video related to his brain fade moment emerged online. This happened during Mumbai Indians’ do-or-die match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (May 21).
During the drinks break, Rohit and Cameron Green were batting and the former tried to take a swig of drink but realized that the bottle is closed. He quickly realized his mistake, opened the lid, and drank it.
Here is the video of the incident and a few reactions from fans:
Rohit (56 off 37) played a captain’s knock to inflict an eight-wicket defeat on SRH. Green (100* off 47) was the hero for the five-time champions as he hammered his maiden ton to guide the team to chase a huge 202-run target with 12 balls remaining.
Virat Kohli thinks Rohit Sharma is the most forgetful person

Rohit’s India teammate Virat Kohli had even shed light on Rohit’s forgetfulness. During an interview, Kohli spoke in length about Rohit’s habit of forgetting daily essentials, including his passport.
“The number of things Rohit Sharma forgets; I have never seen anyone so forgetful,” Kohli had said in a talk show ‘Breakfast With Champions’ on YouTube. “iPad, wallet, phone, not the small things, but daily use essentials.” Kohli then added that the logistical manager always asks whether Rohit has packed his stuffs before departing because halfway to the hotel, the India captain remembers he has forgotten something somewhere.
