Sean Abbott had come in running from deep extra cover, leapt, stuck out his left hand and took an absolute stunner. Marco Jansen was shocked seeing such a good catch, placing his hand over his head in disbelief. After a check by the 3rd umpire to ensure he was not touching the boundary line or if he did not ground the ball, Jansen was sent back to the pavilion.

After South Africa put up a huge target of 339, Australia started off strong. The openers put up a half century stand until Travis Head had to depart after being caught. David Warner and Mitch Marsh also put up another half century partnership, Marsh departed after he gave a catch to the fielder at long-on.

David Warner then got run out, departing after scoring a valuable 78. The very next over  Marnus Labuschagne was stumped by Quinton de Kock after he missed a googly by Tabraiz Shamsi. A few overs later, the duo of de Kock and Shamsi once again picked up a wicket, after Stoinis was stumped. Five overs later, Tim David pulled to midwicket, ending his innings as well.

Alex Carey and Sean Abbott have a huge task now, as Australia still need 142 runs in 21 overs. The only players left after them are Tanveer Sangha, Nathan Ellis and Josh Hazlewood.
