Virat Kohli has almost delivered every single time he comes up against Pakistan. The former Indian batter scored runs all around the park on Sunday, and played some strokes which are beyond imaginable. The two maximums he scored off Haris Rauf’s final over will be remembered foreover.

Despite failing to close the match, Hardik Pandya played a vital hand as well. Struggling at 31 for the loss of four wickets, it was Pandya and Virat Kohli’s partnership of 113 runs which gave India a glimmer of hope.

For Pakistan, they cannot afford any slip-ups from here on. They must ensure that they win their remaining fixtures, which includes a crunch fixture against South Africa in a couple of weeks. As far as India is concerned, they face the Netherlands in their next fixture, which will be followed by a trip to Perth to face South Africa.
