Former India cricketer Venkatesh Prasad is making headlines, but not due to his criticism of the management’s team selection. This time, he visited former India captain MS Dhoni‘s Ranchi farmhouse and got blown away by seeing what Dhoni kept inside his garage- his incredible bike collection.

It’s well-known among the Indian cricket fans about Dhoni’s immense passion for bikes but they might have not had the idea of how of those bikes he has kept inside. Watching the video makes one think that his garage might be having more than 100 bikes.

Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni recorded the reactions of Prasad and another former India cricketer Sunil Joshi, who were stunned to see the number of bikes including cars Dhoni kept in his garage. Prasad seemed speechless and called Dhoni a “mad” person.

One of the craziest passion i have seen in a person. What a collection and what a man MSD is. A great achiever and an even more incredible person. This is a glimpse of his collection of bikes and cars in his Ranchi house. Just blown away by the man and his passion,” Prasad wrote on Twitter.

Many of MS Dhoni’s former teammates in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be featuring in the first edition of USA’s Major League Cricket (MLC) but Dhoni is not allowed. Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020 but despite that, he can’t play in overseas leagues.

As per the rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), a player can only play in an overseas league once he cuts the tie with BCCI. Not only from international cricket, the player needs to retire from Indian cricket as well- the domestic matches and the Indian Premier League (IPL). And at the same there, there’s a cooling-off period that they have to serve.

Dhoni, 42, still plays the IPL and captained CSK to their fifth IPL trophy this year. He may or may not come back for the 2024 season.
