WATCH: “If I had bowled..” Virat Kohli takes a cheeky dig at RR after their epic 59 all out
Kohli said had he bowled, RCB would have bundled out Pink Jersey for just 40 runs.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players were in a jovial mood after restricting Rajasthan Royals to surprisingly just 59 runs. On Monday (May 15), RCB’s social media handles shared a video of the dressing room scene where former RCB skipper Virat Kohli could be heard making jokes about his bowling.
Kohli said had he bowled, RCB would have bundled out Pink Jersey for just 40 runs. “If I had bowled they would have been all out for 40,” Kohli can be heard saying in the video.

That win by 112 runs improved their Net Run Rate (NRR) a great deal, while RR’s- whose NNR was second best to table toppers Gujarat Titans– dropped to the last best among teams that have positive NRR. RCB had posted 171/5 and later skittled out the Sanju Samson-led side for the aforementioned terrible total in 10.3 overs.
RR’s 59 is also the third-lowest total in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Rajasthan-based side also registered the second-lowest total in IPL history against the same side, RCB, in 2009. But it’s RCB who stand atop with the most unwanted record of scoring the lowest ever total when they were bundled out for just 49 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017.

Virat Kohli turns into a bowler after RCB’s epic win over RR

Kohli has often made jokes about his bowling. And after that epic victory over RR, Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Mohammed Siraj, and Dinesh Karthik played a fun game. They had to pick balls from a bucket and hit a mobile phone in front of them.
In that video, Kohli could be seen running with the ball and hitting it with his own hand. The official Instagram handle of PUMA India shared the video with the caption: “Petition for Virat to bowl in the next game.”
