WATCH! “Absolute disgrace” – Virat Kohli’s CONTROVERSIAL no-ball sixer leaves Twitter in splits as fans debate umpire’s decision at India vs Pakistan
Fans react to Virat Kohli's "no-ball" sixer
You couldn’t write a script like this! The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is off to a fabulous start as Virat Kohli’s one-man show helps India secure an important win against Pakistan.
Virat Kohli has once again shown the world why he is widely claimed as the best batsman of this generation with a sensational knock against India’s biggest rivals, Pakistan. The 2022 T20 world cup opener was exactly how the fans would’ve expected it to start off as India get past their neighbors with a nail-biting chase.
Thanks to King Kohli’s 82* of 53 balls, India will now have another victory against their biggest rivals. This World Cup opener had everything you’d look for in an India vs Pakistan cricket match. What seemed impossible after a crumble from India’s top order, was made possible by Kohli and Pandya’s amazing partnership.
Even that wasn’t enough as Mohammad Nawaz’s match-turning no ball in the fourth ball of the 19th over ended up aiding his rival’s victory. While fans of the Indian Cricket Team were more than happy to have got the decision in their favor, you couldn’t say the same about their rivals. Fans are torn with the controversial decision from the umpire Marais Erasmus to award India a no-ball.
A NO BALL! ?

Why was no ball not reviewed, then how can it not be a dead ball when Kohli was bowled on a free hit. #INDvPAK #T20worldcup22 pic.twitter.com/ZCti75oEbd

Everyone is going mad, on the ground, in the dugout, in front of screens.

Ashwin comes out, leaves nonchalantly.
Field comes in. He lofts the next ball, runs.
As if this is a club match, happens every day, no tension, get this done, go home, have tea, watch a web series.
Virat Kohli was out of the crease and ball was at his waist height, bowler was also spinner, so the ball had to be under waist height. It was a wrong no ball and Virat was clean bowled on the very next ball, if he is not out due to a free hit, then there should be a dot ball. pic.twitter.com/TtfAfLVm1f
