When MP won Ranji Trophy for the first time, Irfan Pathan praised the coach Chandrakant Pandit as asked the Indian Premier League franchises for his contract as head coach. The tweet is very old, was posted in June. However, Mysore responded to his tweet on Wednesday, after acquiring the services of Pandit.

Brendon McCullum was the head coach of the Knight Riders however, he left KKR to become England Test team’s head coach.

After officially announcing the arrival of KKR’s new head coach, Mysore quickly responded to Pathan’s post. Pathan wrote this on Twitter: “Congratulations MP team for winning the Ranji Trophy. Chandrakant Pandit creates his magic once again in domestic cricket. How abt a good IPL contract for him?”
