I don’t think you should live in India, go and live somewhere else. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me, but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.

The statement was not well received and faced criticism from fans and journalists. They pointed out how his favorite batter used to be South African Herschelle Gibbs and how he had many fans from outside India as well. Back in 2018. Harsha Bhogle believes Virat Kohli had entered a “bubble”

While Kohli faced criticism from fans and journalists, renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle explained why he said what he said. Bhogle claimed Kohli had fallen into a “bubble” where famous people say only what they want to hear.

Bhogle added that many of these stars end up saying things which won’t be well-received because they are comfortable in this bubble. He further added that some people tend to get closer to the stars and end up agreeing with them due to the benefits.

Bhogle has recently received a lot of flak from fans due to his support of an article which downplayed the T20I skills of Kohli. Srinivas Bhogle, Harsha Bhogle’s brother, claimed Kohli was unfit as a T20 player due to his playstyle.
