“Yes Yes V,” Twitter erupts as Yashaswi Jaiswal scores his maiden IPL century in MI vs RR match

Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batter Yashaswi Jaiswal is in the form of his life or who knows if it is just the beginning. After piling up runs in the domestic circuit, Jaiswal has set IPL 2023 ablaze with his consistent performances. While the southpaw was managing half-centuries before he played on his home ground, Yashaswi Jaiswal scored his maiden IPL century on Sunday.

Opening the batting for RR against Mumbai Indians (MI), Jaiswal once again took the charge, hitting a six in the very first over of the innings. While Jaiswal dispatched Cameron Green for a maximum in the first over, the young prodigy took on Jofra Archer and caressed the premium pacer for a six in the second over. Jaiswal’s innings took off from there and ended only after he had hit all the MI bowlers almost everywhere around the park.

Even on the delivery he was dismissed, it was a controversial one. Later about that, Jaiswal’s innings was of the highest order. The southpaw played with such precision and elegance that it never felt like he was overdoing things. The opening batter hit sixteen boundaries and eight sixes in his inning, all coming from the middle of his willow.

With Yashaswi Jaiswal roaring in delight after scoring his maiden IPL century, fans on Twitter also acknowledged the fabulous knock from the emerging star of India. Everyone from former cricketers to fans praised Jaiswal for this century.
