The 30th game of the present season of the IPL was between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. The game was held in Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. In their allotted 20 overs, Rajasthan Royals batted first and produced a massive score of 217 for the cost of 5 wickets. Jos Buttler, who made a century against the Mumbai Indians earlier this season, followed up with another against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other side, put up a valiant effort in the run-chase but, Rajasthan Royals had the final laugh in the struggle, winning by 7 runs. Shreyas Iyer was the best batsman for the Knight Riders, with 85 runs off 51 deliveries (7 fours, 4 sixes).
With a sensational hat-trick against KKR, Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal transformed the game’s whole scenario. In truth, the two-time IPL winners had every chance to win IPL 2022’s 30th game. Yuzvendra Chahal turned things around with a world-class bowling performance. In the 17th over, the seasoned leg-spinner took the wickets of Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins.

Yuzvendra Chahal was questioned by his wife Dhanashree Verma on RR’s exciting win over KKR on Monday
Yuzvendra Chahal received a lot of praise for his hat trick and five wickets. Dhanashree Verma’s response following the hat trick was also memorable. Following the match, Dhanashree Verma had an open conversation with her husband, Yuzvendra Chahal.
In the honest conversation, Dhanashree was seen teasing her hubby by asking if he was satisfied after she stepped from the bio-bubble. Yuzvendra Chahal blushed in response. Then she asked him about his hat trick to which Yuzvendra Chahal replied It was my first.
“I had to take wickets in this match to change the result. I worked on my bowling. I spoke to the coaches and the skipper. I was thinking of a googly, but then I didn’t want to take a chance. Would have been happy with a dot ball as well on my hat-trick ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer,” Yuzvendra Chahal said at the post-match presentation.
