Ravichandran Ashwin slams ‘fake’ media reports claiming he had complained to the BCCI against Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin
Ace India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has hilariously trolled the fake media reports which stated that he had contacted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCC) to complain about the team skipper Virat Kohli.
The 35-year-old took to his social media handles and specifically slammed the popular news agency, Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) for spreading false rumours.
“I am searching for the handle called “Fake News”, it used to be super fun for Gossip,” Ashwin wrote in his recent Instagram story. Replying to this, his followers revealed the origin of the news reports and the Chennai cricketer continued his trolling.
“Oh yaaa!! Thank you guys. Found Them: I just heard they have renamed themselves and are now called IANS and some others take quotes from them too. Super fun,” he added in the following story.
Here are the screenshots of R Ashwin’s recent stories on social media:

The news agency IANS had earlier reported that a senior member of the team has complained to the BCCI secretary Jay Shah about Virat’s captaincy. It further added that the cricketer was feeling ‘insecure’ about his place in the side.
‘The media must stop writing this rubbish’ – BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal

The BCCI have also cleared their stance on this controversy when treasurer Arun Dhumal sidelined all such rumours citing a bad equation between Kohli and Ashwin.
“The media must stop writing this rubbish. Let me say this on the record that no Indian cricketer has made any complaint to the BCCI – written or verbal. The BCCI can’t keep answering every false report that keeps appearing. The other day, we saw some reports saying there will be changes in India’s World Cup squad. Who said that?” Dhumal was quoted as saying in The Times of India.
