Curtis Campher becomes only second bowler to take a T20 World Cup hattrcik
Irish all-rounder Curtis Campher is only the second bowler to pick up a T20 World Cup hattrick. Before him, only the great Bret Lee had achieved the feat on the big stage. Lee had taken the maiden hattrick in T20 World Cup back in 2007 against Bangladesh. After 14 long years, Campher became the second bowler to emulate the feat and even went a step further.
Curtis Campher’s four-wicket haul has left the Dutch reeling in their opening encounter. The Netherlands are down to 51 for six following Campher’s devastating four wickets. It doesn’t seem like the Dutch will be able to touch the three-figure mark with not much batting to come. The all-rounder has put the Irish side on course to an easy win.
