T20 World Cup: Twitterati reacts as on-field umpire revokes no-ball off Hasan Ali despite visuals confirm over-stepping

No-ball incident during IND-PAK match

The high-voltage match between India and Pakistan of the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup is currently underway at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. However, a bizarre incident took place in the last over off Pak speedster Hasan Ali during the Indian innings’ powerplay. 

The occurrence happened on the first ball of the sixth over when Ali overstepped the bowling crease (as suggested by the replay visuals). He bowled this delivery to India skipper Virat Kohli who took a single on that delivery. The on-field umpire Marius Erasmus had also indicated a no-ball before he overturned his decision.
