Former Indian cricketer and domestic stalwart Wasim Jaffer has been in the spotlight lately for his cheeky tweets. Jaffer’s tweets which are a blend of sarcasm and genuine cricketing knowledge has been well accepted by the fans. The former Mumbai batsman came up with a fitting reply to a tweet by Pakistan Cricket which was aimed at the Indian fans after the Men in Blue crashed out of the T20 World Cup.

India, the hosts of the ongoing T20 World Cup, entered the tournament as hot favourites. But they got off to a horrible start losing their opening games to Pakistan and New Zealand. Their only hope of making it to the semifinals rested on Afghanistan’s victory over the Kiwis which didn’t happen.

Following the match between Afghanistan and New Zealand match, Pakistan cricket tweeted, “How are you feeling, Indian fans?” as India got knocked out. While the tweet didn’t go down well with the Indian fans, Wasim Jaffer came up a savage reply brimming with his trademark sarcasm.

Ahead of the much-anticipated match between Afghanistan and New Zealand, Wasim Jaffer had posted a series of memes depicting the situation of the Indian team. Such was the support of the Indian fans for the Afghans that they even went through the pain of modifying their Twitter usernames to add an Afghani twist to it to show their support.
