[Watch] Virat Kohli gifts T-shirt to differently-abled fan after 100th Test
Virat Kohli’s 100th test match of an illustrious career was the talk of Mohali for the last few days. BCCI decided to allow fans in the stadium on a last-minute basis, and it proved to be a wise decision, as fans witnessed some incredible moments during the India vs Sri Lanka Test match.
The scoreboard was ruled by Ravindra Jadeja’s bat and ball play, but Kohli did just about everything he could to entertain supporters. From doing the Pushpa trend to asking for everyone to make a noise, the 33-year-old did everything he could to please the crowd. Prior to the team bus ride after the match, he also satisfied the wish of India’s unofficial 12th man by gifting him his national jersey.

Whom did Virat Kohli gift his T-shirt to?
The unofficial 12th player of the Indian cricket team is Dharamveer Pal because of his crazy enthusiasm and dedication to Team India. A polio-infected man, he is not deterred by his disability while supporting his team. Similar to Sudhir, the popular Indian fan, Dharamveer is also well-known to many of the national team’s players, who have frequently interacted with him in the past.
The former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, had also met Dharamveer and talked to him about him. He said, “If a physically challenged child becomes passionate about the game, we must help him. His love for the game makes him come to watch our matches. It is good to help children like him.”
Additionally, he also captains the Madhya Pradesh team that participates in tournaments organized by the All India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged. “Cricket is the reason for my living,” says a tattoo on the left arm of Dharamveer, which is a pure reflection of his love and passion for the game.
Virat Kohli makes Dharamveer’s day in Mohali
India’s Virat Kohli saw Dharamveer as he walked towards his team bus after India’s comprehensive victory against Sri Lanka and presented him with an Indian jersey.
He shared the video on his Facebook account and wrote, “Thank you so much champion you will always my champion may god bless you you are inspired many more years, Virat Kohli”. During an interview with Indian Express in 2017, Dharamveer Pal had revealed, “I was fine up to the age of 8 months, but I did not get proper polio doses around that time and both my legs got affected. Ever since 2004, I have been involved with the game. I know all the players and they have been really friendly and nice to me. From Sachin paaji, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag. I know most of them and have been helped by them,” he added.
