Hollywood actor Margot Robbie has been stealing hearts since the release of the blockbuster hit ‘Barbie’ in 2023, directed by Greta Gerwig. Robbie, who was born in Queensland, Australia, is also the producer of the film.

The 33-year-old actress is from a country that has been ruling the cricketing world. Australia has won six ODI and one T20 World Cup, not to forget the World Test Championship trophy and the seven ODI World Cup titles by the Women’s team. Well, the Women’s team has lifted the T20 World Cups as well, six times.

Australia also gave Shane Warne to the cricketing world. A master of the game, Warne, who used to spin webs around some of the best batters in the world, is no more. He died of a suspected heart attack on March 4, 2022.

Apart from his shrewd bowling, Warne was infamous for his antics off the field, especially about the women in his life. He married Simone Callahan in 1995 but the marriage lasted for 10 years. Warne reportedly wanted ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ actress, that is, Margot Robbie, to play Callahan in his biopic.

In 2021, reports emerged that Warne had been commentating and liking almost every picture of Robbie on Instagram. Some of his comments read, “Keep rocking it Margot!” and dropping the “Aussie” comment. An insider told Women’s Day that Warne had a “huge crush” on the ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actress.

Shane's always thought Margot looked like a younger version of his ex-wife. He would love Margot to do something in his life. It's a genius idea and would be a huge film in Australia, England, and India, so she'd be mad not to consider it.

That was the only title the Jaipur-based franchise won. They got close to winning their second title in the 2022 season but were defeated by Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. He also worked as a mentor for the RR.

Warne is second on the list of most wickets scalped in international cricket, with 708 wickets. He was part of the squad that won the World Cup in 1999.
