Australia’s flamboyant all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is a known face in limited-overs cricket. He is known for his aggressive outlook towards the game both with the bat and the ball. In his international career so far, Maxwell has steered his team to victory on numerous occasions by power-hitting or by chipping in crucial wickets in the middle overs.

Maxwell’s maiden outing in the Yellow jersey came in a One Day International against Afghanistan on August 25, 2012. Within a month, the all-rounder also made his T20I debut against Pakistan while his first outing in the whites came against India in March 2013. The 32-year-old now has featured in a whopping 116 One Day Internationals and 72 T20 Internationals for Australia scoring 3230 and 1780 runs at a strike rate of 125 and 158.9 respectively.

The Kew-born also enjoys great success while featuring in the various T20 leagues across the globe. Glenn is a big part of the Indian Premier League and has represented a lot of franchises over the years namely Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), and his current team Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Maxwell has also fetched a considerable amount of limelight for his personal life. The cricketer is happily engaged to an Indian-origin Melbourne-based pharmacist Vini Raman.

Glenn Maxwell’s fiancée Vini Raman was born and brought up in Melbourne. Vini is quite close to India as her family hails from South India. She completed her education in medical science and is a pharmacist. Not much information is available regarding how the couple met each other.

However, it is learned that the two came across each other for the first time while attending a Melbourne Stars event. Both Glenn and Vini are quite vocal about their relationship as they often post pictures with each other on their social media handles. Maxwell had garnered a lot of attention when he had gotten engaged to Vini on February 26, 2020, via Indian traditions.
