Marcus Stoinis belongs to the rare breed of cricketers who can hit big along with coming in handy with the ball. Being a seam all-rounder, Stoinis is enjoying massive success in international cricket and in T20 leagues across the globe especially the Indian Premier League. 

Stoinis’ career in the domestic circuit kickstarted in 2009 at the age of 19 as he made his debut for Western Australia. However, Western Australia couldn’t nurture talent like Marcus Stoinis and the all-rounder found it hard to make it to the playing XI. Thus, a shift to Victoria proved to be a changing point in the right-hander’s career. 

The batting all-rounder rose through the ranks in Victoria to establish himself as a mainstay of the team. Stoinis delivered some brilliant performances both with the willow and the ball to knock on the doors of the Australian cricket team. It was finally in 2015 that the all-rounder earned his maiden call-up as he found a place in the squad for the ODIs and a lone T20I game against England.

Since then, the 32-year-old has featured in 45 One Day Internationals and 28 T20 Internationals scoring 1106 and 376 runs respectively at a strike rate of 92.2 and 133.8. Stoinis also has 33 ODI and 10 T20I wickets to his credit. Over the years, Marcus has featured in 56 IPL games while plying his trade for a number of franchises including Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Some credit for Stoinis’ success also goes to his better half, Stephanie Muller. The all-rounder isn’t married yet but he has been in a long and happy relationship with Stephanie. Though neither of the two has officially confirmed their relationship, Stoinis often posts some adorable pictures with Muller that speak a thousand words. 

Though there is no confirmation it is believed that the couple know each other for a long period of time. It was in 2013 that the cricketer has posted his first picture with Muller on his official Instagram handle.
