The Indian Cricket Team and New Zealand cricket team will be facing each other in their 2nd semi-final consecutively. In their previous encounter, New Zealand beat India by 18 runs and qualified for the finals, where they lost. New Zealand will aim to reach their 3rd World Cup Final, while India aim to reach their first Final since 2011.

India have had a phenomenal World Cup campaign so far. They have won 9 out of the 9 matches they’ve played, with none of them being a close encounter. Their dominating form makes them favorites for the fixture, but their recent form in knockouts of ICC events is concerning.

New Zealand have had a nervy World Cup campaign. They started off with a bang, winning 4 games consecutively, but due to an injury crisis and loss of form, they lost their next 4 matches. They lost their match against Pakistan despite scoring  401 as they lost by Duckworth-Lewis method. After beating Sri Lanka in their final match, they got their spot in the semi-final.
