“Probably next life” – Yuvraj Singh takes a dig at Indian management for not giving him enough opportunities in Test matches

Yuvraj Singh has made the news recently for a hilarious reply or a subtle dig rather that he made at a tweet by Wisden India. The 39 year old Former Indian All rounder is known for his outstanding performance in the 2011 world cup which consequently titled him to be man of the Tournament. He has been a permanent asset of the Indian team with respect to the ODI and T20 format providing consisting performance in both bowling and batting sector which is reflected through the career records.
The southpaw has amassed 8701 runs in ODI format which includes 144 centuries and 111 scalps to his name. With respect to T20 format the left-hander has score 1177 runs and took 29 wickets in his entire career. his exploits have been instrumental for Team India to lift the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup.
Recently, Wisden India had tweeted a question for who is the former Indian cricketer which we feel should have played more test matches. Yuvraj Singh who came across this tweet had made a sarcastic reply from his twitter handle which read as: “Probably next life! When I’m not 12th man for 7 years”
Yuvraj Singh was not a regular feature in the Indian Test side
The Padma Shri-awarded Yuvraj Singh was found to be temporary element with respect to Indian Test team. Yuvraj has played a total of mere 40 test matches in his entire career run gathering 1900 runs with 3 tons with a batting average of 33.3%. Yuvraj Singh made his test debut against New Zealand in 2003. He feels that Test cricket had not provided him enough opportunities and recognition as he was most of the times included as the 12th member to the squad, which is hinted through his reply made on his twitter handle.
The cricketer is also a holder of the prestigious Arjuna award and also has been named as the CNN-IBN of the year special achievement in 2011. This man has not just batted against the fierce balls but also battled against the deadly cancer disease (mediastinal seminoma) in 2011. Then he went on to score his career best of 150 in an ODI against England. The Indian veteran has been one of the finest all rounder in the history of Indian cricket but a part which was always unsatisfactory in the 39 year old’s life would be his Test career run.
