Cristiano was so eager to be fit for the Barcelona game that he travelled to Italy from Portugal despite being positive for Corona. However, he couldn’t believe his luck as the PCR test ruled him out of the game. Ronaldo felt that he was fit and healthy and criticized the PCR tests. Moreover, he has had the Italy sports minister open investigation against him for breaking Covid Protocols.

Juventus released a statement saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test (swab) for Covid 19. The exam provided a negative result. The player has, therefore, recovered after 19 days and is no longer subjected to home isolation.

Ronaldo will be hungry for goals in the next fixture for Juve against Spezia in Serie A. Moreover, the fans will be hoping Pirlo and Ronaldo can propel Juve back to the top of the table with AC Milan, Napoli and Inter looking to dethrone Juventus.
