Jiri Prochazka is gearing up to make his UFC return against former champion Jamahal Hill this weekend at UFC 311. Ahead of the fight, the fighter has introduced a new fully shaved hairstyle. As it turns out, there is an extremely heart-touching story behind his new look, which impressed Dana White as well.
Jiri Prochazka is one of the most loved fighters on the UFC roster. Irrespective of his inconsistent career, the fighter has always shown respect and admiration for others. Recently, the Czech superstar participated in the pre-fight press conference of 311, where he talked about his new haircut.

Ashley McGarity is a huge fan of Prochazka and is currently battling cervical cancer. Last month, before losing her hair to chemotherapy, she gave a tribute to Prochazka by copying his iconic hairstyle. This seems to have touched the fighter’s heart as he talked about donating around $50,000 to support cancer research.
Ashly McGarity was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September. As she was losing her hair to chemo, she cut it to look like her favorite UFC fighter.

Prochazka’s initiative made UFC CEO Dana White to pitch in and give a whopping $50k to the same cause. McGarity is expected to be on the octagon side at UFC 311 this weekend. The hype around the event remains massive given the incredible fights on the fight card.
Jiri Prochazka predicts UFC 311 main and co-main events
UFC 311 will kick off the year with an explosive card, stacked from top to bottom. In the main event, Islam Makhachev faces Arman Tsarukyan in a highly anticipated lightweight championship bout. The co-main event features Merab Dvalishvili battling Umar Nurmagomedov for the prestigious bantamweight title.
Islam Makhachev is the betting favourite for the fight, but the challenger is confident about his chances to win. On the other hand, the rivalry between Dvalishvili and Nurmagomedov is quite fierce. In a recent interview, Jiri Prochazka shared his picks for the title fights.
