‘Pumped up’ Dak Prescott has a solid 3-word response when asked how the last few months have been with Ezekiel Elliott back at Cowboys
After spending a month training alongside running back Ezekiel Elliott, quarterback Prescott claimed the offseason has been great.

Dak Prescott was over the moon when the Cowboys decided to bring back Ezekiel Elliott after just one year away from Dallas. The running back spent the year playing second fiddle to Rhamondre Stevenson at the New England Patriots.
Both Prescott and Elliott have regularly attended all the phases of the Cowboys OTAs, which began in May. Head coach Mike McCarthy last month revealed that he was impressed by how quickly Elliott adapted to his new system.
McCarthy claimed the 28-year-old was an old-fashioned running back who, despite a knock, could charge ahead through enemies’ defense and score a touchdown.
On Wednesday, the Cowboys wrapped up the on-field portion of the Mandatory mini-camp that will run until the start of July before they fly off to Oxnard for training camp. Quarterback Dak Prescott who will play the last year of his contract claimed the offseason has been great with Elliott.

Elliott’s return was Plan B or maybe Plan C because the Cowboys failed to meet the demands of both Derrick Henry and Joe Mixon. The 3 time Pro Bowler, on the other hand, knew once Stevenson recovered from injury, he would be the designated starter for the Patriots. So, he decided to accept Jerry Jones’ offer and came back to Dallas.
However, Elliott wants to make his second run alongside Dak Prescott count by winning the Super Bowl.

Mike McCarthy claimed Dak Prescott had the best offseason
Despite the contract talks heating up, Prescott remains focused on training and learning the new offense run by Brian Schottenheimer. With Trey Lance hot on his heels, the 30-year-old has raised his game in the last couple of weeks.
Even though McCarthy has seen Prescott train for the last 4 years, he claimed the 3 time Pro Bowler had the best offseason among everyone else on the team.
I think Dak is having his best offseason program that we've had. This atmosphere that we've practiced in with the quarterback and receivers has really hit the mark. I've been very impressed with the quality of work.Mike McCarthy said through the Cowboys’ official website

Prescott later agreed with his head coach.
I agree. Because it's what I put into this game. My focus is always getting better overall in every aspect.Dak Prescott said
