Damian Priest certainly shocked the wrestling world by cashing in his MITB contract and becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion. However, recently, he has been the talk of the town because of all the ‘Bis*ual Undertaker’ memes. As such, Priest expressed his honest opinion about the moniker in an interview.
The Archer of Infamy spoke with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone and talked about the most unusual compliments ever given to him. Damian Priest stated that he gets a lot of compliments about his looks, but he never really understood the meaning behind the Bise*ual Undertaker meme. He further added that Rhea Ripley often laughs when a group of fans calls him ‘Baby Girl’.
Priest also tried to go along with the meme by posting a picture of him sitting on The Undertaker‘s throne on social media. Interestingly, even when the 41-year-old won the World Heavyweight Championship, ‘Bise*ual Undertaker’ was trending on X.
Rhea sends me all those. I don’t even know what it means! The big one that Rhea gets happy about is the group of fans that call me ‘Baby Girl.’ She thinks its the funniest thing, and I’m like, ‘What is that? Why?Damian Priest via WrestleZone
WrestleMania XL was a story of two tales, as The Judgment Day had to face the disappointment of losing the tag team titles on Night 1. However, Priest changed the fortune and brought another world championship to the group on Night 2 thanks to a historic cash in. Now, with the Show of Shows out of the way, he will focus on his new challenger, Jey Uso. It will be interesting to see what transpires on the upcoming episodes of Raw.
Damian Priest had nothing but positive things to say about Seth Rollins’ title run
Although Damian Priest took the world by storm by snatching the big gold title from Drew McIntyre, fans certainly won’t forget Seth Rollins’ 316-day title reign. In that lengthy reign, he defended the title a total of 62 times and made the title of ‘workhorse champion’ his own. The new World Heavyweight Champion also expressed his opinion on Rollins’ title reign.
The Archer of Infamy made an appearance on WWE’s The Bump and talked about The Architect’s title run. Interestingly, he had nothing but respect for Rollins for the way he led the locker room. He further added that he intends to follow the same path Rollins took and try to do the same with his title reign.
What Seth did for the locker room, for the fans, for this championship, was special. He worked his ass off and respect to him for that. And I'm not going to come out and do this wrong. I want to follow in those footsteps. I want to be the workhorse champion.Damian Priest via The Bump
Priest compared himself with Cody Rhodes and ended up issuing an open challenge to any wrestler who wanted a piece of the title. Only time will tell whether The Archer of Infamy surpasses Rollins’ historic championship reign or not.
