While no one knows for a fact when Bad Bunny will return to the squared circle, his good friend, Damian Priest, has revealed the only thing keeping him from wrestling again. And knowing the stature of someone like the 31-year-old Puerto Rican artist, he barely gets any time to pursue his hobbies outside of singing.

Speaking to TMZ, Priest claimed that Bunny’s scheduling isn’t letting him perform inside a WWE ring like he has done on numerous occasions before. The former Judgment Day member confirmed that Bunny still has the itch to wrestle, and his love for this industry knows no bounds. Priest also reminisced about the singles match they had in 2023 at Backlash.

I’ve talked to him about it and it’s just scheduling. He still has that itch. He loves our business. He’s had more than enough time to recover since our match, so he’s ready to come.

Those Puerto Ricans threw the kitchen sink at each other in front of their own people in San Juan. Though one would fancy Priest, a former world champion, to dispatch Bad Bunny in a contest that looked absolutely lopsided on paper. However, the ‘King of Latin Trap’ put in the hard yards at the WWE Performance Center to combat the menace of an industry veteran like Priest.

Bunny told The Rolling Stone a few months ago that he does want to at least wrestle one more match in WWE. He brazenly claimed that he wants to risk his life in that ring, as he didn’t do it the last time he stepped between those ropes.

Randy Orton is open to teaming up with Bad Bunny in WWE

A few days before competing in his 20th WrestleMania match this year, Randy Orton caught up with Complex for an interview. ‘The Viper’ was asked who he’d like to bring in as a partner if he were to oppose a once-burgeoning alliance of The Rock, John Cena, and Travis Scott for his longtime friend, Cody Rhodes.

Taking a subtle jab at Scott being unfamiliar with what it’s like taking a wrestling bump, Orton namedropped Bad Bunny as someone he could bet on. The 14-time world champion stated that the platinum recording artist would get in the ring and learn the craft in such a little amount of time that he’d be ready to partake in a Royal Rumble match, etc., at will.

I don’t know how many bumps Travis Scott has taken, but I know Bad Bunny being probably one of the richest, most well-known performers in the world right now, he’ll get in the ring and he’ll learn the craft……Yes, Bad Bunny could be in my corner anytime.

Orton noted that not many celebrities are on his level and don’t even possess the passion for this business quite like Bunny does. ‘The Legend Killer’ added that ‘San Benito’ is welcome to be in his corner anytime he wants. Not that long ago, Damian Priest divulged that it was Orton who personally went to thank the singer-rapper before his WrestleMania 37 match.

It just so happened that the St. Louis native was mighty impressed by Bunny’s dedication to the craft of pro wrestling. Therefore Orton, a legend in every sense of the sport, thanked the rapper for treating the business the right way. Priest was blown away with that stamp of approval, given that it came from the great Randy Orton.

Damian Priest would love to partner Bad Bunny during Super Bowl LX halftime show

Bad Bunny recently announced that he’d be performing at the Super Bowl LX halftime show in February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium. It looks like he might have some company. In the aforementioned TMZ conversation, Damian Priest offered to be alongside the ‘King of Latin Trap’ if he needed him.

The ex-Judgment Day member is even willing to learn dance moves to justify himself if Bunny indeed gives him a call. Priest emphasized in the interview that he’s close friends with the rapper but added that the latter is too busy to entertain any side quests.

If you need me to learn some dance moves and break it down I can figure it out! Would I be willing? Absolutely, man.

Wrestling for WWE was a bucket list item for the 31-year-old that he ticked off a long time ago. He’s still very much interested in lacing up a pair of wrestling boots if the stars align. A future matchup with Logan Paul could also be on the table as ‘The Maverick’ has already called Bunny out for one.
