It left a void when Rhea Ripley went away to nurse her shoulder injury in April. However, it didn’t take long for Mami to return to her hunting grounds when she caught Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in an awkwardly intimate position on Raw a few weeks ago. Since then, she’s been on a tear. The fans are elated that Ripley’s home.

But it seems like her fellow Judgment Day member, Damian Priest, couldn’t be any happier to see The Eradicator back. Recently, the World Heavyweight Champion spoke to the NY Post. While he and Rhea were coming back from the gym and were riding along in the car, Priest told Ripley how much he’d missed her while she was gone. It felt like missing a friend, a road buddy, or even a backstage buddy, said Damian.

El Campeon termed Rhea someone who always pushes him to go the extra mile. They go by the sobriquet of The Terror Twins. Not only on camera, but Priest and Ripley do get along probably more than others off screen as well.

I literally told her, ‘Man, it’s really good to have you back.’ I’ve felt like I’ve been missing something and it was my friend. It’s my road buddy. It’s my backstage buddy. Besides our TV dynamic, it’s everything else. I missed having that person next to me that also pushes me.

Reacting to the aforementioned words of wisdom directed at her, Rhea Ripley took to X, brimming with gratitude. Speaking of what lies ahead of them, there are a couple of big-time matches at SummerSlam. First, Damian Priest will put his world title on the line against Gunther.

This week on Raw, things escalated between the two as they brawled rabidly. It forced Adam Pearce to instruct both men to take a trip back home for the rest of the night. And for Mami, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Her Dom-Dom finally grew some balls to launch a tirade against Liv Morgan. He vehemently told the latter that he hated her.

Will Rhea Ripley regain the title that she never lost at SummerSlam?

Ever since she came back, Rhea Ripley has made it an obsession to regain the Women’s World Championship. She’ll have her crack at gold come SummerSlam when The Nightmare goes one-on-one with Liv Morgan.

The latter was the prime cause of Rhea’s absence. Even after injuring Mami, Morgan didn’t stop there. It took a while, but Liv seemingly grew in influence over Dominik Mysterio. They were involved in several NSFW exchanges on the trot.

But once Ripley re-emerged on the scene, Mysterio tried to convince her that he had nothing to do with Morgan. If there was any doubt, Daddy Dom, as Liv called him, broke her heart this past Monday. However, despite all of this, some fan theories have arisen underscoring how Dominik could pull off a betrayal over his Mami at SummerSlam.
