Dan Hooker called out Tony Ferguson, Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler

Dan Hooker, the lightweight fighter from New Zealand is looking for his third fight this year. He already had two outings this year. The first one against Paul Felder in which he won and the second one against Dustin Poirier which resulted in a loss for him.

The fight with Poirier was a carrier defining fight for him, Dan played very well in that fight and showed a promising carrier is lying in front of him. While talking on Submission Radio, he named three fighters whom he would love to face in his third fight of the year.

Who are these fighters?

Tony El Cucuy Ferguson

Dan Hooker’s first choice was Tony Ferguson. Although Ferguson lost his last fight against Gaethje but he is still going to be a very tough opponent for Dan.

In the fight with Gaethje, El Cucuy almost knocked him out, he took the beating for 5 rounds but he wasn’t knocked out even once. He is going to be a really challenging opponent for Dan.

Dan said for Tony “Top Pick, hands down to be Tony Ferguson. That is a fight I would love to jump in just because of the mystique around Tony Ferguson”.

The second fighter he picked was Michael Chandler; Chandler is serving as a backup fighter for the UFC 254 main event.

Michael Chandler

Chandler has just signed the UFC contract and is yet to make his octagon debut if Dan gets a chance to face him in the first fight it is going to be a really tough brawl between both of these.

He said for Chandler “You throw him for a world title, you throw him, first is a backup for the world title. That definitely shows the stock that the UFC is putting into that guy. I would love to get in there, knee him in the face”.

Charles Oliveira

Dan’s third pick was Charles Oliveira after Oliveira called out him to fight earlier he said, “If Oliveira wants to fight me just get a video and say, Dan Hooker, I want to fight you it’s not that easy”.

Oliveira has a record of 29-8-1. He is also not going to be easy bait for Dan. Dan has already shown his intention, now it’s up to Dana to decide his next opponent.
