Dan Hooker is currently on an incredible run and is eager to make the best out of this winning momentum. The Kiwi fighter is gunning for the ‘red panty night’ against the former UFC double champion Conor McGregor. While Hooker is keen to share the octagon with the Irishman, he won’t make the same mistake as Michael Chandler.
Hooker recently crossed paths with Conor McGregor at BKFC Spain. The duo remained cordial and took part in the post-fight festivities in Spain. Shortly after, ‘Mystic Mac’ announced his intention to face a top lightweight in 2025. Hooker recently expressed excitement about a potential fight with McGregor but made it clear he wouldn’t waste time like Chandler.
Chandler and McGregor were supposed to fight each other at UFC 303, but the Irishman pulled out due to an injury. While the former Bellator champion remained positive, he recently lost his interest and opted to fight Charles Oliveira. McGregor’s unreliability cost Chandler two years from his prime days.

Hooker wants to be smart and is willing to fight anybody in January or March next year. Other than the top five, others such as Renato Moicano and Paddy Pimblett are also interested in fighting Hooker. Apart from all, the ‘Hangman’ has other wild plans that may surprise fight fans.
Dan Hooker is ready to fight in Conor McGregor’s promotion
Dan Hooker is known for being one of the wildest fighters on the UFC roster. The Kiwi fighter loves violence and has been in some of the most brutal wars inside the octagon. He recently agreed to a four-man BMF tournament against the likes of Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje.
Speaking of wild fighters, Conor McGregor’s co-owned BKFC is making a name for itself by putting out incredible fights. McGregor believes that BKFC has the potential to compete with the best in the business, like UFC, in the future. Surprisingly, Hooker has also shown interest in fighting in the BKFC.

In the past, many ex-UFC fighters, such as Luke Rockhold, Chad Mendes, Eddie Alvarez, etc, have participated in BKFC. McGregor has upped his game as a promoter and is keen on taking it to the next level. Watching fighters like Hooker in BKFC would be an absolute treat for fight fans.
