Dana White gets special request for Hitler-praising Bryce Mitchell at UFC Seattle: “I’ll do the job”

Bryce Mitchell is undoubtedly one of the most controversial fighters on the current UFC roster. The featherweight fighter doesn’t shy away from making ridiculous comments, including his praise for Adolf Hitler. However, at UFC Seattle, rising featherweight Jean Silva took the opportunity to call out Mitchell, for a potential grudge match.
Last month, Mitchell was the center of criticism for his comments about Hitler being a good person. According to the Arkansas fighter, Hitler was just protecting his nation by stopping the Jewish influence. Silva seemed to be annoyed with all these comments. At UFC Seattle, he asked CEO Dana White to make the fight.

White, who generally doesn’t censor his fighters and lets them say whatever they want, was genuinely angry at Mitchell. In a press conference, White went off on ‘Thug Nasty’ calling him the stupidest fighter of all time. However, as expected, the UFC boss didn’t punish the featherweight fighter as he still respected freedom of speech.

Nevertheless, Silva was incredible at UFC Seattle, and managed to pick up his fourth consecutive UFC win. The Brazilian fighter has finished all his opponents, and has one of the current longest finishing streaks. He knocked out his opponent Melsik Baghdasaryan in the very first round, and plans to do the same against Bryce Mitchell as well.

Bryce Mitchell is known for his outspoken personality and controversial opinions on politics, conspiracy theories, and historical figures. He has faced backlash for expressing support for conspiracy theories and making inflammatory remarks about sensitive topics. From flat earth theory to school shootings, the Arkansas fighter always had different and weird opinions.
Mitchell has also commented that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is the reincarnation of evil. Things like this are prevalent for the fighter and former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland understands this. After the recent Hitler controversy, Strickland also shared his opinion.
I don’t think Bryce is a Nazi. I think Bryce is a f*cking idiot from Arkansas who is not educated, and I think Bryce is just feeding into the propaganda. How many people actually agree with him? I don’t. Bryce, you’re a f*cking idiot. You should not have said that.

Mitchell in his last outing picked up a KO victory over Kron Gracie at UFC 310. It was a great comeback from his earlier brutal loss against Josh Emmett. Nevertheless, it would be interesting if Dana White makes him fight Jean Silva next given the brewing rivalry.
