Conor McGregor, as usual, has been making headlines lately. However, they are not for the right reasons. The former UFC double champion is doing everything, and appearing everywhere instead of the UFC octagon. While fight fans are eager to see his comeback, CEO Dana White does have some reservations.
After the grand failure of UFC 303, Conor McGregor‘s UFC return was filled with doubts. However, a few weeks ago, White confirmed that the ‘Notorious’ might come back in 2025. However, it seems like recent developments have put some doubts in the CEO’s mind. When asked about it, White gave a rather concerning response.
Conor McGregor has been highly active online recently, engaging in feuds with multiple figures. He initially criticized his fellow Irishman, Paul Hughes, for showing respect toward Khabib Nurmagomedov. Additionally, McGregor had an outburst directed at the ‘Eagle’, using a controversial racial slur.

All this has raised questions about McGregor’s wellbeing and his ability to step inside the octagon once more. Critics have assumed that the Irish fighter is often under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, which has caused the online rants. With such volatile situations, it’s safe to say Dana White might have lost his trust in his biggest superstar.
Why Dana White is the biggest Conor McGregor fan?
Dana White has to be one of the biggest admirers of Conor McGregor and his antics. Since his debut, White knew the Irishman would create history and backed him with everything. From selling record-breaking pay-per-views to getting all the headlines, McGregor did a great job promoting UFC.
White loves McGregor’s fighting style and has compared him to Muhammad Ali when it comes to trash-talking. According to White, the ‘Notorious’ has never turned down any fight which makes him a great collaborator. In an interview, the CEO shared how McGregor had more impact than any other fighter in UFC history.
However, now a big portion of the same fanbase has turned their back on McGregor, and is frustrated by his antics. The ‘Mystic Mac’ doesn’t care and continues to do what he likes the most-creating controversies. For him, if UFC doesn’t work, BKFC is already a great backup option, given he is the co-owner.
