Dana White is like every other fight fan as UFC 300 approaches. Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill headline UFC 300, which will very likely break several records. The card has 14 fights, all worthy of being at least a Fight Night headliner. Multiple fights on the card could headline any other PPV.

White had already revealed that the event would break every $15 million gate record at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. As of now, PPVs headlined by Conor McGregor are the top 3 biggest in terms of gate generation. Alex Pereira has now become a huge superstar in the UFC, and White only had nice things to say about the Brazilian.

He's [Alex Pereira] one of the greatest kickboxers ever. He's the first and only fighter to win the middleweight and light heavyweight titles, did it in the shortest and fewest fights to win two titles in two different divisions. He did it in two years and seven fights and when you think about a guy like this, Alex knocks people out who have never been knocked out before. The guy is an absolute stud.

All signs point out that the gate of UFC 300 will surpass $15 million. Even though UFC 300 is a fight card that has many superstars, Pereira’s star power will certainly play a part in its gate generation. Pereira has headlined two PPVs in the top 3 of the biggest MMA gates at the Madison Square Garden.

Pereira will not likely have it easy, as Jamahal Hill is a capable striker in his own right. Like Pereira, Hill also has one-punch knockout power. Nonetheless, in the main card of the PPV, Hill vs. Pereira is the closest fight according to betting odds, with Pereira being the favorite. Only time will tell if Pereria hands Hill the first knockout loss of his career.

Dana White previews Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison

Even though UFC 300 has 14 fights, only three of them feature female fighters – One in the prelims, one in the early prelims, and a title fight in the main card. UFC CEO Dana White eagerly awaits to see what happens in one of those fights. The fight is none other than Kayla Harrison‘s debut fight in the UFC.

Harrison, who has not fought below 145 lbs, will make UFC debut against Holly Holm in the bantamweight division (135 pounds). White is a fan of both women and recently stated that Harrison looked jacked when he last saw her. In a recent interview, White spoke very highly of the fight.

Holly Holmes is an absolute legend...She's one of the most decorated female fighters of all time, if not the most decorated. Going in against Kayla Harrison, who's a two-time Olympic gold medalist in Judo and has finished like 12 out of her 16 opponents. So, it's a big test for Kayla, and obviously a huge fight for Holly at this point in her career.

White stated that a victory is beneficial for both fighters. A victory over Harrison will cement Holm’s already decorated career. On the other hand, a victory over a former champion will make Harrison’s title aspirations easier in the UFC. Nonetheless, the main story going into the fight is whether the weight cut to 135 lbs affects Harrison’s performance.

In case you missed it!
