Jake Paul recently scored a win over Mike Perry. Until now, Paul had been fighting former UFC fighters. However, after his victory over the BKFC star, Paul called out current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. But what does UFC CEO Dana White think about this?

Dana White recently sat down for an interview with TNT Sports. During the conversation, White was asked if he would consider setting up the fight with Alex Pereira to shut up ‘El Gallo’ once and for all. However, it turns out the UFC head honcho has not given it much thought.

I stopped paying attention to Jake Paul when he lost to Fury, you know what I mean. It’s like when he fought somebody that was his age and actually boxed, he lost and I’m not s******* on the kid, I don’t even think about him anymore.

White revealed that he has not talked to Mike Perry in a long time. The UFC CEO claimed that he did not even know that Jake Paul was fighting the former UFC contender. White was on vacation in Italy and had no idea about the matchup.

Alex Pereira is arguably one of the biggest names in the UFC right now. After a successful short-notice bout at UFC 303, ‘Poatan’ publicly discussed his potential debut in the boxing space. Seeing the opportunity, Paul called out the Brazilian champion and he responded in the affirmative. But with White’s latest statement, and Pereira being an active contender in the promotion, it will be interesting to see if this potential matchup ever sees the light of day.

Dana White addresses assassination allegations from Jake Paul

Jake Paul had recently claimed that Dana White, along with other figures in the combat sports industry, want him ‘assassinated’. He made these allegations in the context of ongoing tensions and disputes with the UFC CEO.

Paul had suggested that there have been efforts to sabotage his career in boxing and prevent him from entering the MMA sphere. However, Dana White claimed that he has no beef with the 27-year-old internet personality. White said that he does not even think about Paul anymore.

It doesn’t even cross my mind. I have no beef with him. ‘They’re trying to get me assassinated’. Nobody’s trying to get you assassinated especially, listen, I respect Perry. Smaller, older, I mean it’s the same blueprint that they’re fighting older, smaller guys that, it’s just I literally don’t even think about him anymore. It’s all b*******.

Jake Paul accused White of attempting to undermine his ventures in combat sports. He had even claimed that the UFC head honcho had offered substantial rewards to fighters who could beat him in the ring. It will be interesting to see how long this so-called rivalry lasts.
