Danica Patrick is a dividing figure in the racing scene in the US for a lot of wrong and right reasons and the 39 years old retired driver has recently been making headlines for their presence in the NASCAR booth for coverage of the sport by Fox.
One of the most successful woman racers of all time Danica Patrick made her 2022 race broadcast debut with Fox earlier this month and was present in the coverage for the last two rounds of Cup Series races before Atlanta. She had her moments that invited both criticism and appreciation from the NASCAR community.
Now Fox Sports broadcaster Mike Joy who co-hosted the coverage of Phoenix and Vegas races alongside Danica Patrick and Clint Bowyer has come forth calling out her for refusing to interview this former Nationwide Series rookie of the year.
Find out what Mike Joy said

Mike Joy revealed that Danica Patrick didn’t want to conduct a post-race interview between her and Ricky Stonehouse Jr. of JTG Daugherty Racing. He went on to say that her former Stewards Haas teammate Clint Bowyer who is a co-host was okay with it and they didn’t have a talk with the driver after the second stage of the Atlanta race sitting his lower finish even though they could have done it.
“Danica says, ‘Whatever we do, don’t make me talk to Ricky and of course, Clint goes, ‘Hell yeah.’ So, we get to the end of the second stage and Clint says to the producers, ‘Hey, I think Ricky finished 18th, you think we ought to talk to him?’ We didn’t talk to Ricky but we could have,” Mike Joy said.
Why there is bad blood between Danica Patrick and Ricky Stonehouse Jr

Love can heal most of the bad things that happen to an individual on the other hand separation can make them the worst enemies. That is exactly what happened to them. The pair first had their meeting on the race tracks where they went full throttle against each other to secure a win for their teams until their paths crossed for something more than that.
Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fell in love with each other during the intense battle they fought against each other. They dated for five years before calling the end to their relationship in 2017.

Danica Patrick moved on and started to have an affair with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is regarded as one of the best of his generation, before yet again calling an end to their relationship in the summer of 2020. Danica Patrick is believed to be single right now as she has announced her and her recent boyfriend Carter Comstock’s breakup before joining Fox.
