Medvedev and Sinner faced off in the quarterfinals of the Six Kings Slam on Wednesday evening. The Italian dominated the first set, winning 6-0, and secured a harder-fought victory in the second set to move forward in the tournament.

At 3-4 in the second set, Medvedev missed a breakpoint chance and threw his racket in anger. He picked it up but soon slammed it on the court again after missing another chance at deuce.

As Sinner took the lead, the Russian’s frustration grew. He smashed his racket on the ground multiple times, finally doing it again when Sinner was up 5-3 at deuce in the second set.
