Darren Till would have faced Marvin Vettori in a matter of couple of days from now at UFC on ABC 2, had it not been for a collarbone injury. The Scouse had been looking forward to beating the Italian and inch closer to his middleweight gold quest, when the injury occurred. He had to pull out, and Kevin Holland will be fighting in his place.
In the wake of this Marvin Vettori recently claimed that he was a bit suspicious about Darren Till’s injury, adding that the Englishman might be overplaying it. Darren Till took to social media to blast Marvin Vettori, exclaiming that he would have been his easiest fight, had he fought him.

Darren Till’s Instagram post read, “@marvinvettori whats up with you mate? You missing a few cells or something?
If only you f*****g knew what I went through this camp to get 2 fight you. Inside & outside the gym! Let’s have it right mate you were going to be my easiest fight, You are a walking punch bag who’s tough. Nothing more & nothing less. So keep ur bitter mouth shut. For you or anyone to even think for one minute I’d pull out of a fight with some bullshit excuse makes me howl. Every fight camp I guarantee I train through way harsher injuries than you and 90% of the roster. What you want me to do? I’ve broke my f*****g collarbone u utter moron.“
Till continued, “Make sure u win Saturday. & here’s some advice u ugly looking lord of the rings ork motherf****r. Vettori, the man who has never been finished in his professional MMA career will be taking on Kevin Holland instead who is coming off a loss against Derek Brunson at the recently concluded UFC Fight Night. As for Darren Till, he will have to wait longer before he can continue his quest for the middleweight gold.
