Amidst all the chaos on SmackDown, MVP brutally assessed WWE’s decision to break up The Hurt Business. Moreover, he revealed that the group had tried to pitch a reunion to Triple H to no avail. Following these comments on social media, Dave Bautista opined on the faction and, similarly, called out the Stamford-based promotion for breaking them up.

The wrestler-turned-actor commented on MVP’s post on Instagram. As per Big Dave, WWE pulling the plug early on the group made little to no sense. Furthermore, he felt confused by The Hurt Business splitting up during the pandemic. The Animal believed that the Bobby Lashley-led stable was box office. Bautista’s reaction doesn’t come as a surprise, as he expressed his disappointment when the faction broke up in 2021.

After Lashley became WWE Champion, he and MVP attacked Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, effectively breaking up with the pair. It shocked the WWE Universe not only due to the sudden turn of events but also because The Hurt Business had become popular during the pandemic. In fact, it was one of the few positives to come out amid the admittedly underwhelming product.

When Triple H took over creative duties, fans expected the group to reunite. However, after a few teases, the storyline abruptly came to an end. Later, Lashley would end up joining forces with The Street Profits. Meanwhile, MVP aligned with Omos, both of whom sporadically appear on television. Unfortunately, Alexander got lost in the shuffle, while Benjamin was released by WWE last September.

Drew McIntyre disclosed how Dave Bautista helped him land first major Hollywood break

Recently, the trailer for the Dave Bautista-starrer “The Killer’s Game” was released, which confirmed the appearance of Drew McIntyre. The Scot will be guest-starring in his first major Hollywood project, and he can thank Batista for that.

In an interview with Irish Wrestling and Entertainment, McIntyre divulged details behind the casting of his character in the movie. The two-time WWE Champion revealed that the film makers wanted an unintelligent, tough Scot who spoke with a comedic side.

As such, Big Dave immediately pointed out that ‘Drew’ would perfectly fit the role. Later, the WWE legend called McIntyre to break the good news. For those unfamiliar, The Scottish Warrior will be playing one of the hitmen who’ll be hunting Bautista’s character in the movie.
