David Beckham is not just a great footballer but he is also an excellent spokesperson. He is one of those players who are way too influential. It is his public speaking over the heated issues which truly steals the spotlight.
For instance, all the hate comments which came in the aftermath of England’s defeat at The EURO 2020 knockout stages. Which was followed by the racial abuse of some of the England National Team Players.

The players who got racially abused after the EUROS were basically Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling. The most ironic name in this list is Marcus Rashford. It is because of everything which he did during the pandemic.
He was literally praised by everyone for his actions to provide food and shelter to the poor people of his community in England. And just months after that, he is racially abused by his own English fans which is terrible.
The other players in the list like Bukayo Saka,Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling were also scapegoated by the English fans for their nation’s dismissal from the EURO 2020.

Beckham’s Say On Racism In England
David Beckham who is currently retired as a Professional Footballer and who partly owns the MLS side Inter Miami has always been a celebrity because of his stunning looks and great footballing brain.
However, he takes stands where it rightfully belongs. In one of his social media handles, He wrote: “To Gareth and the boys…I know how much this will hurt but you have the pride and thanks of your country for what you have achieved and you have done it the right way.
“Anyone who doesn’t support and respect each and every one of you today isn’t an England fan.
“Win or lose we stand with you .. Hold those heads high..”
