Media scrutiny and online hate have finally gotten to poor Angel Reese. The LSU Tigers superstar burst into tears after her team got eliminated by Iowa Hawkeyes in the ‘Elite Eight’. Despite a commendable performance on the court, Reese could not hold back emotions when discussing recent criticism.
After having a season like Reese did, it is only natural to feel all kinds of emotions after getting eliminated from the competition. As LSU teammates stood up for Angel Reese after the defeat, the 21-year-old star broke down in tears and opened up about the struggles she had been through to get to this position.

The Hawkeyes have made it to the Final Four of March Madness by defeating LSU. Regardless of playing one of the best seasons in her career, LSU Tigers’ Reese was unable to defend her national championship title. Despite the early exit, Reese has ended her season with commendable numbers.
Angel Reese opens up about her WNBA future
Reese’s on-court rival, Caitlin Clark revealed that she will say goodbye to her college career and will aim for this year’s WNBA draft. After the announcement last month, basketball fans were also eager to hear similar news from the LSU senior.
However, Reese might not be ready to move on just yet. In the emotional press conference after the Tigers’ exit from the ‘Elite Eight’, the star was asked about her plans to join the WNBA. After an upsetting loss, the athlete was filled up with emotions and revealed not to be ready for the big decision.
