Conor McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 over three years ago. Last year, fans were hyped for a comeback, but the anticipated fight never materialized, leaving many disappointed and confused. Now, several experts have publicly expressed doubts about McGregor’s return, questioning his motivation and long-term commitment to fighting.

However, that doesn’t imply the ‘Notorious’ is neglecting his body, as he continues training and maintaining peak physical condition daily. Recently, McGregor posted a new workout video showcasing his shredded physique, which immediately went viral across all major social media platforms. As expected, the clip sparked a flood of comments from fans demanding his long-awaited UFC return sooner rather than later.

Under the Instagram post, McGregor’s longtime partner, Dee Devlin, made a comment that also went viral. McGregor and Devlin began dating in 2008 after meeting at a nightclub and quickly formed a lasting connection. She supported him financially and emotionally through his early MMA career, believing in his potential long before fame and wealth arrived.

They’ve faced controversies together, but remained committed, eventually getting engaged in 2020 on Dee’s birthday after twelve years together. The couple has four children named Conor Jr., Croia, Rian, and Mack and proudly share their family life on social media regularly. With his life away from fighting, ‘Mystic Mac’ is often observed with his family, spending time with his kids.

However, his die hard fans are desperate to see McGregor back inside the octagon but for now there are no updates. UFC CEO Dana White has already stopped talking about it and McGregor has also hinted at potential retirement. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see if the former UFC double champion decides to take a last shot at professional fighting.

Dee Devlin defends Conor McGregor in controversial lawsuit

Throughout his professional career, Conor McGregor has remained a polarizing figure, known for his charisma, trash talk, and flamboyant lifestyle. However, one of the most serious controversies came when Nikita Hand accused him of ra*e in December 2018 in Dublin. She alleged McGregor assaulted her in a hotel room after she rejected his advances, leading to a civil lawsuit.

She testified that McGregor choked her three times, making it hard for her to breathe and fearing for her life. McGregor denied the allegations, claiming the encounter was consensual, and expressed disappointment with the verdict. Following the lawsuit, Dee Devlin publicly supported her husband on social media, defending him during the difficult and highly publicized situation.

Imagine a WOMAN, with her own boyfriend and child, texting provocative pictures of herself to another woman’s man with a family and child on the way. This woman claims to know me, yet still went ahead and sent messages and pictures of herself over and over to my man? Really? Whilst out on a 3-day bender, texting excuses to her own child at home where mammy is on a Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday night night into Monday morning. All the while out of her face in a hotel room, dancing around a hotel carpark. What sort of WOMAN are you!!

In November 2024, a civil jury found McGregor liable for the assault and awarded Hand $250K in damages. As an aftermath, the ‘Notorious’ lost many of his sponsors which affected his revenue streams. However, now it seems like the veteran is back on track and trying to stay fit instead of creating controversies.
