Delivery driver faces terrible fate after swinging at heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora
Heavyweight Derek Chisora was captured in a video having a physical altercation on the streets of London, just about a week away from his high-stakes heavyweight showdown.

Derek Chisora headbutted a delivery guy after a heated argument broke out on a London street! The footage went immensely viral days before the heavyweight boxer faced Joe Joyce. Ex-world title challenger Chisora was allegedly enjoying a meal with his two daughters when the takeaway man arrived on a bicycle. With dogs and children in the area, Chisora politely asked the cyclist to dismount.
The cyclist refused, and an argument broke out with the driver taking a swipe at Derek Chisora, reports The Sun. Social media footage shows the cyclist putting his hands on Chisora before the fighter headbutts and faceplants him. The boxer is prone to being a street bruiser; this flare-up, however, is not the boxer’s fault apparently.
Prominent media outlets, including The Mirror (@mirror.co.uk), contacted Chisora’s representative for comment. Chisora will be back in action on July 27th against fellow Brit heavyweight Joe Joyce at The O2 in London. He last outpointed Gerald Washington last August and faced a KO loss from Tyson Fury in their trilogy at Tottenham Hotspur. Yet another short-fuse Brit funnyman he shares his demeanor with.
The matter has gone immensely viral; his matchup does not seem to be at stake though. In an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of talkSPORT Drive, promoter Frank Warren voiced that ‘Warhorse’ just defended his family. That’s how he sees it; the police were called, but nothing came out of it.
Frank Warren weighs in on the Derek Chisora incident
While announcing the fight, Warren billed it as a clash between “two top London heavies” in an exciting scrap. Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs) isn’t exactly the spring chicken of the top crops right now. He was on a three-fight losing streak in his last five fights before Ex-lineal WBC heavyweight Fury gave him a shot.

Joe Joyce is also on a back-to-back losing streak against Zhilei Zhang. Hence, Warren thinks both fighters are at a crossroads now. The 72-year-old would definitely love it if roadside scuffles would not take place while in camp, ten days away from the fight. But he does not place him in the wrong here.
Derek was with his children and the delivery bloke started pushing Derek. Derek defended himself, that’s how I see it...Yeah, he was very disappointed it all happened....You’ll see the bloke comes to him and starts pushing his fist out and Derek did what he did. He was with his kids.Frank Warren to talkSport drivetime Exclusive
Warren, who will promote their clash at London’s O2 Arena, since talked with Derek Chisora. While he is gutted, the 40-year-old is adamant the cyclist was at fault; Warren agrees. More to it, Warren is already looking beyond Chisora’s scuffles and more on his battle in-ring. His high-stakes battle will cause the loser to stop competing at the world level. Hence, it’s the best foot forward.
