Travis Hunter is preparing to make his official debut in the NFL. He is using all the preseason reps at his disposal to prove to his doubters that he can play both wide receiver and cornerback in games.
That process is ongoing, and many are waiting to see if he has the generational talent in him that some claimed he does. The Jaguars believe the Colorado star is a player for the ages, which is why they selected him No. 2 overall in this year’s draft.
The 22-year-old did not suit up for the second preseason game against the New Orleans Saints as a precaution. He apparently suffered an upper-body injury, but specifics were bleak.
This also happens to be around the same time that outside scrutiny on his marriage to Leanna Lenee returned to social media. Lenee had recently posted a video on TikTok revealing tears running down her cheeks.
Many speculated that the 23-year-old was unhappy and probably wanted to leave the Jaguars star. It seems this came to the attention of a certain Dennis Rodman, who fired shots at Hunter at the most opportune moment.
It so happens that the NBA legend was on streamer N3on‘s live stream. There, the streamer asked Rodman if he had any advice for his 21-year-old self.
Just don’t be Travis Hunter.

Rodman: "Just don't be Travis Hunter."

As soon as he said this, the five-time NBA champion broke out laughing and started claiming that it was fake news, and he still found it funny enough to say live on a stream. Possibly, Dennis Rodman was referring to Travis Hunter‘s marriage to Leanna Lenee, which many believe was the wrong decision.
Leanna Lenee was not crying about her marriage
Dennis Rodman probably knows that Leanna Lenee’s teary video was nothing about her marriage. However, when she did post that video, it sent alarm bells ringing across Hunter’s fandom.
Fans started building up theories and were tagging divorce lawyers without even watching the video or listening to what Travis Hunter’s bride had to say.
I wish I could go back and hug December me, because oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way. I don’t even recognize this girl anymore.
Leanna Lenee wrote on TikTok
Lenee was referring to the excessive online bullying she faced after she claimed to have ignored Travis Hunter initially. Some claimed she was a gold digger. Their claims were corroborated when other clips showing her behavior surfaced online.

The 23-year-old added that she leaned on God to help her get through these past several months. It could be an ode to how she has matured over these past few months, taking in all the abuse, yet continuing to stand strong beside her husband.
Travis Hunter and Jaguars gear up for final practice sessions
After a week in Louisiana, the Jacksonville Jaguars are returning to Florida. They have two more training camps before traveling to Miami to take on the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.

Therefore, those two training camps, set to be held at Miller Electric Center on August 19 and 20, will be the last time Travis Hunter and his teammates will be able to practice.
He should have an easier time in those practices as it would be minimum contact, owing to their final preseason game against the Dolphins on August 23rd. After that, the Jaguars will have to narrow their roster down to 53 players.
That should confirm the Colorado star’s positioning on the depth chart. As of now, Hunter is listed as the starting wide receiver opposite Brian Thomas Jr., and as the second cornerback behind Tyson Campbell.
This chart could change and place Hunter as one of the starting corners. But so far, the arrangement seems to be intentional, not to exhaust him right away, and give him time to adjust to the NFL.
