Dijak completely rejuvenated himself when he returned to NXT after his first disastrous run on the main roster. He delivered classic matches against the likes of Ilja Dragunov, Wes Lee, and Oba Femi, amazing fans with unbelievable moves. Many fans wanted to see him succeed on the main roster after he was called up to Raw back in April.
However, after not wrestling a single match on the main roster, the 37-year-old announced his exit from the company. Dijak shared a post on X in which it appeared there was a message about the issues he faced during the last few months on the main roster. He revealed that even though his contract was about to expire on June 28, WWE never tried to negotiate with him.
Dijak stated that the Stamford-based company never made him an offer and denied him a new contract at the deadline. The former T-Bar admitted that two months ago he was perhaps on his best run in NXT. He had an excellent WrestleMania weekend, participating in one of NXT’s best Triple Threat matches against Oba Femi and Josh Briggs.
Interestingly, a few days ago, Fightful Select reported that the negotiations for a contract extension between him and WWE were considered positive. His last words stated that although he was disappointed by the exit, he was also excited about new opportunities. Dijak said he only wanted a fair shot and expressed his desire to go out and take it.
