Novak Djokovic gears up for Roland Garros after early slumps in the season
While the 24-time Grand Slam champion enjoys his time with his new family member, Novak Djokovic will also have his eyes set on the challenge that lies ahead of himself. The Serbian tennis ace, who won titles for fun till the last season, has been facing concerning issues this season.
In the three tournaments played so far, Djokovic has not been able to win a single title, creating problems for him. The 36-year-old has reached two semifinals but has not been able to go all the way. While Jannik Sinner got the best out of him at the Australian Open semifinal, Casper Ruud beat him in Monte Carlo.
Now, with the second Grand Slam tournament- Roland Garros due to start in a few weeks, Djokovic will be hoping to get his act together. He will have a couple of Masters tournaments to play before he goes to the French Open to defend his crown.
The entry list for this year’s Roland Garros has been announced and both Djokovic and 14-time champion Rafael Nadal have been included in it. It is to be seen if the two players finally play at a tournament together and if their rivalry will come alive again.
