Despite his several on-screen romances, Dominik Mysterio has a highly loving relationship with his wife, Mary Juliette. The two met in a Spanish class in 2011 when the former NXT North American Champion was barely a teenager. The two have been together for nearly 12 years. He recently broke character on the occasion of his wife’s birthday.

Dominik Mysterio recently uploaded an Instagram photo of his wife. The photo appears to be from their wedding day, as she can be seen wearing a wedding dress and doing her make-up in front of a mirror.

The 27-year-old captioned the photo wishing his wife a happy 27th birthday. Ironically, this post comes shortly after his intimate moment with Liv Morgan on the latest episode of Raw.

Mysterio got married to Mary Juliette in March earlier this year. The wedding was attended by several WWE superstars like Austin Theory, Damian Priest, and even Rhea Ripley. His previous on-screen romantic interest, The Eradicator, also recently tied the knot with her partner, Buddy Matthews.

Dominik Mysterio has been the centerpiece of multiple WWE storylines that involve a romantic interest. Rhea Ripley was his Mami for over a year. After she got injured, Liv Morgan started making passes at him. Despite his initial hesitance, he now seems to have given in and has started embracing the Women’s World Champion’s efforts.

This is one of the few times that Mysterio has broken character since his WWE debut. The Latino star perfectly held together his emotions while his father, Rey Mysterio, was being inducted into the Hall of Fame. As they were feuding at the time, he maintained a stern expression throughout and even walked out of the ceremony.

Dominik Mysterio helps Liv Morgan retain her Women’s World Championship against Zelina Vega

The feud between Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega had been building up for several months. The two finally butted heads on the latest episode of Raw. Although many fans wished to see this match at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE, the match ended up taking place on free TV instead.

Zelina Vega had constantly accused Morgan of taking her eye off the ball. She thought that the Queen of Extreme was more focused on Mysterio rather than on her championship. Ironically, it was the Hall of Famer’s son who caused the LWO member to lose her focus and her championship opportunity.

During the match, Mysterio came out to ringside to cause some distraction. He handed Vega a steel chair, receiving a warning from the referee. The challenger hit him with the chair, but this was enough distraction for the 30-year-old to hit her with an Oblivion, pick up the victory, and retain her championship.
