Donald Trump did not like Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The President of the United States of America delivered some choice words right after Bunny wrapped up the half-hour extravaganza.
The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst. EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social
In September 2025, when the NFL announced that Bad Bunny would headline Super Bowl 60, Trump was among those who expressed discontent with the selection. Trump declared that he wasn’t familiar with Bunny and his genre of music. He even considered that the league should stick to popular faces.
Bunny pushed back against Trump and the right-wing groups calling to boycott his show. While appearing on Saturday Night Live, he urged the American audience to learn Spanish. Later, he stated that he is just as American as his followers because Puerto Rico, where he was born, is part of the United States, even though it’s separate from the mainland.
The “WELTiTA” singer captivated the halftime show in a stunning white ensemble, ultimately forgoing the original plan of wearing a dress, and concluded with a powerful message. Shortly after, Trump penned a lengthy paragraph hinting that he didn’t enjoy the performance, as it was in Spanish.
Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!
Trump wrote
He further added that there “is nothing inspirational about this mess of a halftime show.” He took a backhand jab at rival media groups, claiming they will award the performance with “great reviews”, because “they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.”
