As the US Presidential elections draw nearer, Pennsylvania has become the focus of both candidates. The swing state and its voters are most crucial in deciding between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Both the candidates knowing this have ramped up their efforts in the state, with the former President turning up at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New York Jets.

First, he announced his arrival by posting an AI image of himself in a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey, that too fully padded up and raring to play. The jersey was emblazoned with the number 47, indicating that he was campaigning with the Steelers faithful to vote for him to be the 47th President of the United States.

Then, with the game in progress, the 78-year-old appeared in the VIP suite. As he stood behind bulletproof glass, he was introduced to the crowd.

The moment fans laid their eyes on him, they cheered him on as he waved. But then, the fans collectively started to chant;“USA, USA, USA!”

Donald Trump, hearing this, clenched his fist and timed his hand in motion with their chants. This continued for a while until he again broke into a wave as fans roared. All of this despite the fact that 20 players on the field were going through their motions.

Indicating that the former President is a massive draw wherever he goes. He hopes his presence will help the 68,000 seated to vote for him. This is his second major campaign in Pennsylvania in a matter of weeks. Last time around, his close friend Elon Musk was at the Steelers game and hyped up the crowd with the terrible towel.

Donald Trump’s presence not enough for Steelers as Jets take lead

When Musk was at Acrisure Stadium, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost their second game of the season. This time, they are facing Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Not an easy task, but the Steelers vaunted defense should not have a problem with them. But this time, too, they find themselves on the back foot.

Russell Wilson starting his first game as a Steelers QB has not had the ideal game he hoped for. The New York Jets defense has allowed only two field goals in the first two quarters and forced Wilson to give up on drives four times. On the other hand, Rodgers and his high-powered offense have already racked up two touchdowns, one through the air, and one through the ground.

But Wilson stood his ground and threw a touchdown to WR George Pickens in the dying seconds of the first half. With the second half still to go, both offenses are yet to open up completely. Making it a thrilling encounter in Pennsylvania late on Sunday night.
