Over the years, Rogan has delved into a detailed discussion about several controversial subjects through his podcast. As a result, he has built a reputation that is recognized by many notable figures, including Donald Trump and Dana White.
UFC CEO has been a significant figure in connecting the worlds of his MMA promotion and politics. Because of White’s constant praise of Donald Trump, the Republican candidate received a major boost and endorsement from the UFC community. Interestingly, popular podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan also played a significant role in this support. As a result, Trump holds Rogan in high regard.

Over the years, Donald Trump has been a consistent presence at UFC pay-per-view events. One of the main reasons for this is his friendship with the UFC CEO. Notably, Trump played a significant role in promoting the MMA organization during its early stages. As a result, the POTUS often attends the majority of UFC pay-per-view events. Most recently, he was seen at UFC 309.
In the aftermath of that, Trump also sent invitations to several notable UFC fighters for his Inauguration Day ceremony. Some of the prominent names on the newly elected president’s guest list included Dana White, Joe Rogan, and Conor McGregor. This showcases the growing camaraderie between the two parties. Additionally, during the live UFC 310 event, Trump appeared to send a message to Rogan.

Interestingly, Joe Rogan is often seen as pro-Republican, similar to UFC CEO Dana White. However, he has frequently rejected these claims and presented himself as having a neutral political stance. In the lead-up to the elections, Rogan was scheduled to host both prominent U.S. presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
While Trump’s appearance on Rogan’s podcast was a massive success, Harris was unable to join the show. In the aftermath, the Democratic candidate faced significant backlash from the UFC community for snubbing Rogan’s podcast. Months later, the UFC commentator revealed one of the major reasons for the fallout between him and Harris.
They wanted to do it that Saturday, the day after Trump. I said I would do it, but it had to be at 8:30 AM. The reason why is I had a podcast already scheduled, which was a live UFC podcast. They were already in town. I can’t just say, ‘No guys, I can’t do this awesome thing because I have to interview Kamala Harris’. I’m an MMA commentator, this is part of my job, and I said I would do it [but in the morning]… That was Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway. For UFC fans, that was a huge fight… I’m not going to miss that!

As a result, the podcaster didn’t want to miss out on a key event and adjusted his schedule.
