Donovan Mitchell was on fire for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they hosted the Orlando Magic in game one of the playoffs at the Rocket Mortgage Field House, Cleveland, Ohio. In a video that has gone viral, he lit the arena with a spectacular dunk in the first quarter of the game.
It occurred in the game’s early stages. Mitchell stole a loose ball from the Magic’s Joe Ingles and sent the crowd screaming with a thunderous dunk, giving the Cavs a 12-point lead.
The Orlando Magic were making their first playoff appearance since the days of Aaron Gordon and were dealt a blow as the Cavs showed how it’s been done. Donovan Mitchell led the player statistics chart with a game-high 30 points, two rebounds, and three assists as the Cavs took game one 97-83.
Paolo Banchero, making his debut playoff appearance, was the Magics’ best player of the night as the 2023 NBA Rookie of the Year came up with 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. But it was not to be, as the Cavs won game one of the series.
